Hatha Yoga - Vinyasa Yoga

About

I started loving yoga in 2018. What made me fall in love with it was that, from my very first practice, I immediately felt one of its benefits: I slept so well that night! From that moment on, I became eager to keep attending classes. Over time, I began to explore yoga more deeply and discovered that yoga is not just about asanas (physical postures). There is so much more beyond the physical practice.

My yoga journey began because I felt that my body was very stiff. At that time, I couldn’t even trim my toenails easily! So, I motivated myself to attend my first yoga class. It wasn’t easy because my body was stiff, and I didn’t have much strength. However, my teacher encouraged me to keep practicing consistently.

I started practicing yoga in 2018, and during the first two to three years, my focus was mainly on asanas. Later, I discovered that yoga offered so much more to explore, from moving with awareness and understanding the breath to learning the philosophy of yoga. These teachings gradually changed my mindset and the way I approach life.

Even now, I feel that there is still so much more to learn throughout this journey.

My intention to become a yoga teacher first came to me during the first two to three years of my practice. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the circumstances at that time, I had to put that dream on hold.

Finally, in 2025, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). In 2026, I continued my journey toward 500 hours of training, which I aim to complete by the end of the year.

As time passed, I began to understand why the opportunity to become a teacher had not come earlier in my journey. During my first few years of practice, I realized that I was still practicing with a lot of ego. Perhaps the universe was giving me more time to grow, learn, and understand the true meaning of yoga before sharing it with others.

So far, I have completed my 200-hour and 400-hour yoga teacher training certifications, and I am currently working toward completing my 500-hour training by the end of 2026.

I particularly enjoy practicing basic yoga and Hatha Yoga, with an emphasis on understanding asana alignment. I believe that learning the fundamentals is essential to building a safe, strong, and sustainable practice.

I became a yoga teacher because I want to share the benefits of yoga that I have personally experienced throughout my journey.

My goal for my students is not only to help them become healthier, stronger, and fitter, but also to help them understand the deeper essence of yoga. I hope they can learn to move with awareness, connect with their breath, and bring the lessons they discover on the mat into their everyday lives.

For me, yoga is a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and discovering more about ourselves. And I believe that, as a teacher, I am still a student, too.
